Early Designs

^ This is what your board will look like at the start of the game. The blue square is your treasure room. The green tiles are tiles that you can place on the board. The white tiles are tiles on which you can place green tiles, but which cannot be traversed by adventurers.
^ This is one representation of what your board could look like after 14+ turns. Each green square is a hallway (which may or may not be upgraded; as the player, you'd be able to tell which ones were upgraded). Adventurers will move through the hallways based on whether they've been to that tile before, whether they can move any further without backtracking, and on how easily they can defeat what's on the next tile.

So if a necromancer adventurer were considering whether to move straight down the hallway or take a left, and there was an ice elemental straight down the hallway and a zombie to his or her left, the necromancer would move left. Zombies are easier for necromancers to defeat than elementals.
